Ta~Da! I'm actually Shocked at how close the Real Thing looks to my Original idea!
These aren't all the bottles that we are going to be using - I hijacked some from their current homes just for picture purposes. But I think it will be cool to slowly add special bottles to the mantle over time - replacing generic ones with those that are sentimental or have really interesting labels! I am going to stick with only Green Bottles, just in an attempt to add more color to the room!
Now I just have to find all of the stuff to put on top of the mantle...I already have a plant, but I need to find at the very least a Mirror and a really cool Clock, but that's going to have to wait...I have a feeling my next paycheck will be going to pay for all the alcohol I'm sure to consume when my two Best Friends from Home come into Town! Yeah for Sarah and Rissa make the trip to NOLA for a visit!!!

ReplyDeleteSo what happened to the painted canvases that were originally there? I'd be careful about putting too much weight on that mantle. You might loose a bunch of good wine and a TV to boot.
