A Wild Weekend with Old Friends!

This Weekend my Two Best Friends from High School came into town! We had a Great Weekend Staying up late, Catching up on our Lives, Gossiping, and Celebrating Rissa's 24th Birthday! In addition to spending some quality time on Bourbon Street, exploring Lafitte's, the US's Oldest Bar and enjoying the Piano Bar at Pat O'Briens!

 But this weekend wasn't all about drinking, I introduced Sarah and Rissa to some of my favorite spots in NOLA including Elizabeth's and Ruby Slipper for Breakfast and Rocky's Pizza.  We also tried something new, and had a fantastic dinner at El Gato Negro.  It had everything a Mexican Restaurant should have, Cheap, Cheesy Food and Strong Margaritas or Sangria! Plus a great location in the Quarter to begin our bar hopping!

When friends like this come into town it makes me sad that I'm not back at home in Knoxville, because not only do I miss them, I miss everything they make me remember. I wish I had the opportunity to see them more regularly, but that's the best thing about Old Friends, you can pick up right where you left off the last time, as if no time at all had passed!
