Girl Scout-iversary!

Today is officially my 1 Year Anniversary of working for Girl Scouts Louisiana East!

This time last year I was just happy to have a reason to get out of bed, take a shower and go somwhere...instead of sitting infront of the TV waiting for Zach to get home from Law School. While times like this are stressful with hundreds of Phone Calls, Emails and Recruitments - as a generality I Love my Job! I'm on the Go, Networking, Meeting new People - pretty much the perfect job for me!  In my one year I have been moved from originally working the "Bayou" Terrebonne and St. Mary Parishes to now working the "Westbank" of New Orleans - West Jefferson and Plaquemines Parishes.  While I enjoyed both territories, each for their own reasons - I hope I'm done moving around.  This is my first recruitment that is all my own, all of my own "recruits" all of my own work.  I came into the job last year half way into the game (right now I'm at 60% of each of my Membership Goals) but this time I get to do it all myself! It's hard but the challenge gives me such a rush!
