One of THOSE weeks...

After this weekend I am EXHAUSTED.  I loved the Company, but I'm totally wiped! And now I'm thrown into a Short week, that isn't as restful as it might seem...it just means that all of the work that I should have done in a long week is consolidated down into 4 days...each of which are nearing the 12 hour mark.  I'm finally getting a second to blog, while at the wonderful Harvey, LA Public Library, between a Leader Orientation Session and an Open House at a School that I am desperately hoping to get Girl Scouting into...It's a low income school in a poor neighborhood...I just hope that I can find a Mom tonight that is willing to give a little of her time to Girl Scouts, because I feel like these Girls really need the programming...

After my Open House tonight, I am going to have to race over to the Blaine Kern's Mardi Gras World to get my wristband for tomorrow's Saints NFL Kickoff Event!!! Zach and I actually won tickets! I don't think I have ever won anything in my entire life, and I get to go to the Dave Matthews Concert before the game! I don't have tickets to the game, but I feel like the concert then crowding into a sports bar sounds like the perfect evening to me!

On top of all of my craziness we found out yesterday that My Car is officially TOTALLED! I feel like this is the first time in history that a simple Fender-Bender would lead to a car being totalled, but apparently it did so much damage to everything under the hood, it just isn't worth fixing.  So I've been pretty emotional about that.  I'm not the kind of girl who cares about cars, but I really loved my little bug, and now its up in the air as to what I should get.  I clearly need a car.  I've been driving Zach's enormous SUV in the intermediate, but I hate driving it...I literally feel like I am trying to navigate a School Bus! And on these narrow New Orleans roads it is impossible, especially when I am used to driving a Bug.  I want to get another Bug Convertible, its fun and there is nothing that is a better stress reliever than driving with the top down, but when I'm having to haul so much stuff for Girl Scout recruitments its size is a little impractical.  I don't want to have to start driving a Mom car (need I remind you that I'm not in the market...) but it seems like it might be the most responsible choice...

I promise to Blog about my Weekend tonight!
