True Prep.

I have very little leisure time these days...like hardly any.  It seems like every single evening I am working late either going to a Parent Meeting or a Recruitment, a PTO Meeting, Leader Orientation or Service Unit Meeting.  And its not like I get any relief during the day...I'm literally on the phone constantly, to the point that when I get home from work I'm hoarse from talking non-stop for upwards of 12 hours.  Which means when I do get home I want nothing more than to crash on the sofa and either watch a single television show or do a little light reading before heading to bed...

True Prep: It's a Whole New Old World

I'm at Barnes and Noble at least 3 times a week to do New Leader Orientation Trainings, and while I am waiting to meet my next volunteer, or to kill a little time between meetings, I peruse the stacks and last week I finally bought the much buzzed about sequel to "The Official Preppy Handbook" - True Prep.  I must say that initially I was a little skeptical of the book...after all I am of the opinion that one should not write about their preppiness, they should just live it and not brag about it.  But that is neither here nor there, the book is, I have to admit, very funny and perfect if you only have bits and pieces of time to read.  Most of the "Chapters" are more like magazine columns and quips about various topics from The Preppiest Places to Vacation, to The Preppiest Schools, to The Preppiest Attire.  I am officially a True Prep Fan!
