Turkey Burgers!

It's time to get back in the swing of things with cooking after what seems like eating out for two weeks straight!

Last night I cooked Mushroom and Swiss Turkey Burgers from Martha Stewart's Everyday Food!

Ingredients
- 1 small red onion
- 1/2 Pound Button Mushrooms
- Coarse Salt and Pepper
- Vegetable Oil
- 1 Pound Ground Turkey
- Swiss Cheese
- Whole Wheat Buns
- Red Pepper

Directions
- Finely chop Onion (1/3 Cup) and sauteed over medium heat with 1 tablespoon of oil.
- Coarsely chopped Mushrooms and saute with Onions too, seasoning with Salt and Pepper
- Add Onion and Mushroom Mix in with Turkey Meat.

- Form Meat into 4 or 5 Patties and Grill
- Lightly Saute strips of Red Peppers
- Top Burgers with Red Peppers and Swiss Cheese and Serve on Whole Wheat Buns!

These Burgers were so good and a healthy alternative to traditional Beef Burgers - only 345 Calories per Burger! Since we used our little George Foreman they were quick and easy enough to make on a busy schedule!
