Well it has been a while since I've blogged. I'd like to say it is because I've been so busy, which I have been, but I don't think that's it. I think I've become lethargic about blogging...and I think I know why. Lately I've had alot weighing on my mind, mostly this worry that "This may be our last Fall in New Orleans" or "This maybe our last Halloween in New Orleans", "This maybe our last this and that in New Orleans"....and to be honest it maybe. Zach's graduating in May, and in the process of job searching, he's had a few interviews, but only one in New Orleans. Our chances of ending up in NOLA as just as great as us ending back in Tennessee or Atlanta or somewhere random like Birmingham or Jackson...there is no guarantee and that's scary.
Zach is out of town this weekend, visiting his parents in Destin for the weekend, and I've had some time to myself this weekend. I got caught up on some work, got to have some girl time, and got to watch the movie Julie & Julia. When it was in theatres I got sooo aggravated with the constant commercials but I finally sat down to watched the movie and it was pretty good. Its the story of Julie who is systematically cooking and blogging her way through Julia Childs cookbook. There were times when Julie didn't want to blog, then she was down but she kept going it was her outlet, so I'm bucking up and recommitting myself to blogging! I also think I need to start branching out with my cooking too...
