It's been so long since I've Blogged I'm almost embarrassed to return! Life has just taken me over...
- At the beginning of December nearly half of my office was layed off which has left us "Survivors" barely treading water...I'm currently working three different positions right now...
- My Mom and Grandmother were in town for a Long weekend right before Christmas which was fun but hectic...
- I had a very treasured Girl Scout Volunteer pass away...who had no family...so I'm planning her Memorial Service...I've never planned a Memorial Service...not sure how that's going to turn out...and yet another time when I want to scream "This isn't in my Job Description"!!!!
- We made the trip home to Tennessee for the holidays, but it was such a short trip it almost wasn't even worth it...After criss-crossing the state twice we did get to see all of our friends and family...but barely...
- We came back to New Orleans for New Years Eve, which was fantastic, but left me hungover for three straight days...Alright, admittedly this is my fault...
- Up and running, I'm still working the jobs of 3 people, but in only 3 days a week because I'm currently blessed to be serving my Civic Duty as a Orleans Parish Criminal Court Juror - in Orleans you get Jury Duty for a Month...I have to come in every Monday and Wednesday in January in *hopes* of being placed on a jury...most of the time I just have to sit in silence...
- We've had House Guests, first for the National Championship Game and then a friend from High School who is currently spending a year bicycling across country...
- Ohhh...and I'm about to fall into Cookie Season Hell...
To be honest with you I haven't even had time to Blog! But I am determined to start the year off on a good foot...even if it is 3 weeks late! To help make the burden of starting back up after so long easier...I'm electing to forgo blogging the Holidays...at least for right now...But I would like to share are beautiful Christmas Card! I'm super happy with how it turned out!
Anyways, I'm back...it may just be a couple times a week...but I'm back.
